Over a period of 4 years, Russia House ITT had a fantastic opportunity to assist an Oil exploration project with translation of technical documentation of the pumping equipment supplied by a British firm to Russia.
The full project was the incredible £20 Billion pound Sakhalin-2 development programme and encompassed the first liquefied natural gas plant in Russia. The project is of vital importance to Russia’s energy policy. The two fields contain an estimated 1,200 million barrels of crude oil and 500 billion cubic meters of natural gas. It’s expected to yield 9.6 million tonnes of liquefied natural gas per year and about 180,000 barrels per day of oil will be produced.
Now that the plant is in full operation, our client has kindly sent this amazing cosmic-looking image for our marketing purposes. We are incredibly excited and proud to be involved!
