Interpreting

Russia House will be happy to assist you with the following formats.

Please contact us to discuss the optimal format for your meeting.

Ad-Hoc interpreting

Business meeting type of interpreting. No equipment is needed, the information is passed between the two parties consecutively. This is the most frequently requested type of interpreting.

Simultaneous Interpreting

Interpreter works alongside the speaker, either from a booth (formal conferences), or in whisper (less formal fast pace consultations). Demanding a great deal of focus and concentration, this type of interpretation often commands paired work with interpreters taking turns every 20 minutes.

Telephone interpreting

There are some simple situations in which parties choose to use a telephone interpreter for an international call. Apart from using actual telephone line, Russia House will be happy to assist you via Skype or Face Time.

Online conference

A collaborative virtual meeting in one-to-one, one-to-many or many-to-many formats.

Webinar

A virtual one-to-many presentation. As a rule, all participants except the presenter are muted during the presentation.

Webcast

A virtual lecture-type event with a large number of participants. The focus is not on interactivity.
